The 5 course units, together with appropriate assessment methods and an already completed Diploma of Accounting (or higher), meets the requirements for approval by the TPB to register as a tax agent.

There will be multiple assessment formats including online supervised assessments - a requirement of the TPB.

This course is designed as an additional option for those accountants who wish to work as registered tax agents. A registered tax agent is licensed to prepare and lodge tax return on behalf of individuals or small/medium businesses to ensure tax obligations are met and returns are as large as possible! Tax agents have to comply with strict laws and be meticulous with attention to detail.
